What's Up... What's Up

Hey ho! So what's been happening in Doobers? I don't know but here's what happened to me last weekend. I got my car stuck in the sand due to my laziness of making a u-turn when I decided to take a short cut in a sandy area instead and there you go my  poor1.3L engine little car!

After trying to scoop out the sand where both my front wheels got stuck (for almost an hour) and just when I almost lost hope, these three very kind and generous supermen (1 just happened to throw some garbage near where I got stuck, 1 which I literally stopped in the main road, and the other was a passerby) helped me out! I can't thank them enough for rescuing me even though they had to deflate my tires :(

And last Thursday, my hubby bought me SIMS3 for PS3. And last night after 4 days of playing, my sim got pregnant and after 2 simoleon days she gave birth and guess what, to twin baby boys!

I guess even in video games, there is no hope for me having a baby girl, LOL!
But hey who would still want for any thing more than this?

I woke up one morning and was about to get ready for work when I saw my two boys sound asleep close to each other almost hugging. Bless them! Made me want to go back to sleep and lay down in between them.hehehe...

Can't he get any cuter? This little piggy grabbed some chips from my plate munched it then just spit it out!

And boy am I so glad that I finally had enough of changing my blog template and editing HTML codes for the past few days. Gah!

So that's all for now folks!

Precious Moment with my Elijah

We’re glad you joined our family,
Yet some things make us wonder;
How can a little package like you
Have a voice that’s loud as thunder?
You are so small and oh so cute,
But you are never very shy,
For whenever you want something brought to you,
You just open your mouth and cry.
First you moved on hands and knees,
Then you were up on your feet.
We’re chasing you all around the house;
We’re tired; we need a retreat!
Your food is smeared over the table;
Your food is on the floor;
Seems the only place food didn’t go,
Is in the baby we adore.
Diapers here and diapers there,
Stinky... smelly... Whew!
Diapers would have done us in,
If we didn’t love you as we do.
We’re glad you joined our family,
You’re a unique and wonderful treasure.
So, despite the work of raising you,
Being your parents is a total pleasure!

Word of the Day: EXPIRED

EXPIRED

Well it started when my office mate, Alfiya, said that our Department Head's father has expired this morning! I said how can she use the word expired when she means to say that someone has just died? She said that there's nothing wrong about using the word because she's right and that's how they say it when someone died... I mean expired. Still I said she's wrong because expired is only used on something which has a production date LOL (stupid me!) So to stop the argument I checked online and found this from thefreedictionary.com:

ex·pire  (k-spr)
v. ex·pired, ex·pir·ing, ex·pires
v.intr.
1. To come to an end; terminate: My membership in the club has expired.
2. To breathe one's last breath; die: The patient expired early this morning.
3. To exhale; breathe out.
v.tr.
1. To breathe (something) out.
2. Archaic To give (something) off.

Haha I didn't say a word about what I just found out and that Alfiya's right! Ok fine! :D

Saving up or just plain curiousity

Ok so one day my husband just suddenly decided to collect all the coins with him and in side our house  and took them into a big empty bottle of water. This came to me as a surprise because since the day we decided to move in together, I always find coins anywhere in our house as according to him he doesn't really like them because they're too heavy to keep them in his pocket.

Sometimes I find these coins in our drawer, above our tv cabinet, in his travel laptop bag, luggage bag and even in the toilet! But I often find them in his jeans pocket after leaving it in the laundry basket. But I guess he finally realized that instead of leaving them anywhere in the house, might just keep them inside a water bottle coin bank. He said he wants to know how much coins can fill up the water bottle  and unlike other people who does the same, he keeps track on how much coins he drops into the bottle, he counts them first, writes them down on that small piece of paper on the bottle and then adds them up to the previous count.Genius!

And hey, a few days ago I saw it featured in 7days newspaper as well!

On the other hand, I'm getting a lot of coins from selling refreshments in our warehouse and when my hubby found out about this he asked me to give them all to him in exchange of notes (Sorry about the messy office desk drawer).

So now I wonder if he really wants to save up or he just simply wants to find out how much coins can fill up the water bottle or maybe both? Well I wish you goodluck babe, I hope you can also drop some dirham notes occasionally and not just coins alone ;)
